1x 400w Gemini into beauty dish at 7 o'clock infront of the object pointing down with 1/5th of power
2x 400w Gemini into strip light softboxes each side at 10 and 2 o'clock behind the object with 2/5th of power

I'm lovin' it

Saturday we met at the lightGIANTS studio to test our new strip lights!
This is one image out of the batch.
We all had no dinner so we had to eat at the studio, why not shooting it! ;-)

DJ Overflow From Mad Hat Movements, Shot in the lightGIANTS studio Karlsruhe Germany.

Scott had a shoot last Thursday with DJ Overflow and asked me to assist.
This setup was one of my ideas, so I could shoot some pics too.

stacked bug

at the moment I don't really have time for photography and photoshop.
I'm so busy with the studio, the blog and all the stuff behind additionally to my daily job... okay, enough self-pity! ;-)

Here you see a quick composing/stack out of 4 or 5 shots.

I've stacked them to get a bigger depth of field and the whole bug in one picture.
They where taken during out Flickr BBQ with a Canon 100mm L macro (not mine)
It's a very nice lens! :-D

Knight Rider K.I.T.T.

Who doesn't know K.I.T.T. from the series Knight Rider?
It was a instant hit back in the 80s and also a cult series here in Germany when i was a kid. I loved to watch it every week!

This compositing was made out of two shots.
The car I've captured during a US Car event here at Karlsruhe.
If you look at the before and after you will see the origin...
... surrounded by people all the time and a ugly overcast sky.
really bad conditions.
The background I've used was taken by m-arx.
So special thanks to him for let me use it in this image!
I think it fits perfect!
